Duke Ellington on DC Commemorative Quarter

Today, the U.S. Mint announced that Duke Ellington will be the face on DC's quarter. Duke, a native of DC, learned to play the keys on T Street NW, starting an international jazz career that has influenced millions.

You can snab our commemorative change on January 26, 2009. Maryland and Virginia's quarters both came out in 2000.
