Last night, minutes before her album drops (it drops today; pick it up!) Jazmine Sullivan entertained artists tucked away in Arundel Mills. Many of Baltimore's finest/legends were in the building including many familiar voices from 92Q (Jay Claxton, Kelson).
After waiting a while...a long while, rubbing sholders, meeting some for the first or seeing people again that I haven't seen in a loooooong time (since my Hammerjacks hopper days *tear*), the atmosphere was chill, all awaiting to see and hear what this 21 year old singer-songwriter had in store.
She sang many of my favorites "Lions, Tigers, Bears", "Bust Your Windows", her new single, which is kind of a scary song: think Waiting to Exhale. And of course she concluded with her number one single, "Need U Bad".
