Veteran's Day Parties! :)

Everyone who is off tomorrow sucks! Sike...I'm just hating because I'm not. Anyway, if you have an extra day to kick back and relax, here are some local hot spots that might be jumping:

CALLING ALL GO GO HEADS! The Backyard Band will be performing tonight at Cafe Asia (1720 Eye Street NW).

Tonight, watch Monday Night Football at Lotus (1420 K Street NW). You get in free with this pass until 11 PM. The party goes until 2 AM with drink and food specials until 8. DJ Analyze is on the tables!

Fly Lounge (1082 Jefferson Pl NW) is a typical Monday night hot spot and tonight should be no different. RSVP here! :)

Anwar aka Big G does City Festival

Anwan "Big G" Glover of HBO's "The Wire" loves the community and to show it he along with The Backyard Band will host the first annual Elevation Day tomorrow from 12-6 PM.

Sponsored by the D.C. Dept. of Health and Rock The Vote, it goes down tomorrow in the Brookland Manor community (2524 14th Street, NE).

Come watch Big G and other live performances. Also, you can register to vote, get health screening and they'll be plenty of back to school giveaways.
