Dorothy Irene Height was spotted at a march organized by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., as part of their centennial celebrations. The march started in front of the National Council of Negro Women headquarters, where
Dr. Height is the President Emerita. The march was open to all members of the Pan Hellenic Council and focused on issues of improving education, health care and employment for African Americans.
