Anwan "Big G" Glover of HBO's "The Wire" loves the community and to show it he along with The Backyard Band will host the first annual Elevation Day tomorrow from 12-6 PM. Sponsored by the D.C. Dept. of Health and Rock The Vote, it goes down tomorrow in the Brookland Manor community (2524 14th Street, NE).
Come watch Big G and other live performances. Also, you can register to vote, get health screening and they'll be plenty of back to school giveaways.
