Your Friday Night...

It looks like there's tons of things happening tonight even with the temperature dropping and the threat of snow. Oh this is a perfect day to spend on the couch (with or without a boo) with popcorn and with the Five Heartbeats on loud...BUT...if that ain't your cup of tea, check out:

>>> Mike Brooks, DC's own funny guy will be hosting "The Bailout Comedy Hour" tonight at the newly renovated Indulj (1208 U St. NW). You've seen him on the Bad Boys of Comedy and Martin Lawrence's First Amendment Tour so laugh with him tonight. Open bar from 5-6 and the show begins at 7:30 PM.

>>> "Hoop Dreams", the documentary on a scholarship program aimed to help public school kids get mentors and college prep is having a fundraiser tonight. At the Shadow Room (2131 K Street, NW), NFL players, cheerleaders and other local celebs will be walking the catwalk in the Fashion Forward fashion show. Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door. Get tickets here!

>>> Try this: It's photography meets nightlife. At 8 PM, check out photography by Garai Rice. He'll be showing off his flicks from the Coolout. I miss those! Afterward, jam with two of the funkiest/hottest DJs who will be spinning at Tangy Sweet (2029 P Street NW) for the after party. More info here...

>>> Urban author Janice Adams will be hosting tonight's party at Pure (1326 U Street NW). The best part about Pure is the 2 for 1 apple martini/cosmo specials. $10 cover.

>>>CALLING ALL REGGAE LOVERS: Head to Fur (33 Patterson St. NE) tonight to boogie in the Mafia Lounge. The party will go to 5 AM. Click here to get in for only $10.

...Will be updated throughout the day...
