Since 93% of DC voted for Barack I think it's pretty safe to assume that you're obsessed with our new first family like I am...and now the streets are predicting not only which puppy the Obamas will adopt but where the girls will go to school.Bets are on private schools like Georgetown Day or Chelsea Clinton's alma mater Sidwell Friends. Still, with Mayor's push for better education in DC public schools perhaps the girls will end up in DCPS.
(And don't even look like that at the screen...like why is she telling us this, I don't care...well because I do!) :)

Co-sign the above poster. No DC public schools for those young ladies. And I say that as a DC public school product. I hope not to even have my own kids (when I have them) in DCPS.
The girls go to private school in Chicago already, though DC public schools wouldn't be an option anyway. Sidwell Friends has high security ability -- that's why Chelsea went there, and my bet is Sasha & Malia will end up there too.

I really hope they go to friends. Those are good schools.
While I know this isn't possible but I hope that their school does not get announced. The way these crazy people are in this world, I do feel that these girls require more security than previous administrations.
Also, I want to commend you on your blog. If I ever need to be kept abreast of the DC nightlife, I definitely refer to your page. Keep up the work.
Wasn't this an episode of the West Wing?? When the new President decides to send his kids to DCPS and it's a big deal & everyone got all teary eyed about how he really wants change & lives in the real world, etc.
Now, here in the real world, I wouldn't blame Barack one bit if he sends the kids to a private school in DC. It's rough out there and those are some good private schools! I vote for Sidwell! :)
