I heart this hotel. It's called the Hotel Monaco and it's a boutique hotel right near the National Mall. It blends in well with the District as it looks like a federal building from the outside but inside, from 5:30 - 6:30 PM they have a complimentary wine hour every day!
You can't beat that. Just remember who told you first...
