In an effort to bring awareness to the HIV/AIDs pandemic, Big Tigger's 7th Annual Celebrity Classic called on some of our favorite athletes for the 2008 Youth Sports Clinic.
A wonderful opportunity for DC kiddies, the Youth Sports Clinic provides football and basketball instruction to 100 kids, ages 7-14, who are affected or infected by this disease.
Big ups to all those atheletes who took time out for this great cause, especially my favs: Former Terrapin Shawne Merriman (San Diego Chargers), Caron Butler (Washington Wizards), DeShawn Stevenson (Washington Wizards), Clinton Portis (Washington Redskins), Santana Moss (Washington Redskins) and good ole Fred Smoot (Washington Redskins).
If you or your kiddie would like to participate it goes down today from 2 – 5 PM at the Trinidad Recreation Center (1310 Childress St., NE).
