If you're a music head like I pretend to be, head out to Cafe Troupe (2100 P Street) in Dupont Circle tonight for what Chee Chee and Cheeky like to call "Groove Theory". They're playing all of those old time favs includind A Tribe Called Quest, Lucy Pearl (aww I loved their song), Mos Def, The Roots, Common and others...it's a different party than the regular KI and Goldenboy joints.
The party starts at 11 and goes allllllllllllll the way until 5 AM. (Sounds like the Dox in Bmore...I just hope it's nicer than the Dox.)
