In celebration of the first Democratic elections in South Africa, held on April 27, 1994, Goapele will be performing at Zanzibar (700 Water St. SW). Advanced tickets are $28 but you might as well get them at the door for only two dollars more.The evening is hosted by WHUR's Tony Richards and also on the bill is Daddy Saj of Sierra Leone and Mahala of South Africa.
I'm luvin' this day and luvin' this moment to celebrate a wonderful time in history. Shout out to all my peoples in Lesotho and Soweto.
