Happy Hour and Cheap Eats at Evolve

The Park isn't the only one offering $5 entrees...it's happening tonight at Evolve (1817 Columbia Rd. NW). From 5-8 PM, they have $5 scallops, shrimp, steak and more! (Don't get the calamari!!) From 8-10 PM there's a specialty martini open bar! :)

The game will be on and of course, there's no cover!

Kick off the Redskins Season!

Okay, I'll admit I am soooo not a Redskins fan! Don't look at me like that...half of y'all aren't either.

Still, I may watch the Redskins take on the NY Giants tonight. Here are some good spots to catch the game:

>>> The Park (920 14th Street NW) is hosting it's regular Thursday night affair. $5 cocktails from 5-7 PM. Too bad Dave & Ray won't be there anymore...tear.

>>> Jin (2017 14th Street) is also hosting something with pre-kickoff drink specials from 5-8 PM and 1/2 off appetizers.

>>>Adams Morgan! I love putting on a t-shirt, jeans and flats and not caring about what I look like...grabbing a good Blue Moon or Corona and watching the game. Head to any bar down here. Shout out to Evolve (1817 Columbia Rd. NW) who has a great big flat screen right above the bar and the owner makes a mean drink! :)

Wizards Host Evolve Mondays

It's no secret that DC Fab! told you first. Evolve (1817 Columbia Rd NW) has finally teamed up a great promoter to give Fly Lounge some competition on Monday nights. Tonight, the Wizards host Evolve from 5-2 AM. Complimentary Ciroc martinis from 8-10 PM and there's no cover so you can't beat that...

Get here early to score a seat. The best lounge area is in the front window and if you get there too late to score this 'wanna be seen' table then shoot for the more private second floor area. :)

Spots to Watch NBA Finals Game 6

It looks like some of you took the initiative and toldddddd me the best spots in the District to watch the NBA Finals Game 6. I hope you're better than me...the last game I ended up falling asleep on the couch :) I didn't know who won until the morning...yaddawell!

Call me old fashioned but I still think a good old rusty-dusty bar is the best place to watch any kind of sporting event. The people there aren't too stuffy to talk trash and give each other high fives.

Mini Recap: Evolve in Adams Morgan

Yesterday I was invited to meet a friend at a relatively new spot in Adams Morgan called Evolve (1817 Columbia Rd. NW). Tucked right off of the main road in AM, Evolve feels like 'Miami meets DC' with drinks like Sinful Delight (can I say yum?) and Angel Passion...although be careful because the cute bartender won't tell you everything that's in it!

Right after work, Evolve is definitely a neighborhood spot with locals stopping in to talk to the three owners who were all there yesterday. Still, at night, it's a great place to have a chill dinner with your boo or have drinks with friends.

Ladies, try to take over the white lounge area in the front of the restaurant/lounge...it's very sexy and great for taking loads of pics! :) The chef there used to work at Old Ebbitt Grill (if you haven't been to his DC staple, try this place out too...) so you know it's good.
