The best rapper alive, Jay-Z performed at two venues in the DMV: Ram's Head Live! (Baltimore) and Love nightclub (DC)...
At Ram's Head Live! he received rave reviews for his performance. A 70-minute set, Jay performed all of his hits including "99 Problems," "I Just Wanna Love U," "Ain't No Playa". He had three background vocalists and a nine member band complete with two drummers, and a DJ.
Even Memph Bleek and Sigel came out to support the still-rapping CEO.

Jay at Love didn't receive as much praise...perhaps he was tired from performing earlier that evening. Of course he didn't have a 70-minute set and between the two fights that broke out before he even arrived and the hordes of male fans (I heard it was a complete sausage fest!!!), many people left before he even performed.
A source told me, by 1:40 AM he hadn't arrived yt so she left, sick of all the people bumping into each other to get on the second floor and grown men grabbing her ass (I thought ass-grabbing ended in 10th grade).
Also, my source said she paid $100, which was a complete waste of money because there was no special section (like it was for the Keyshia Cole and J. Holiday concert) or distinction from people who paid $40 to see Jay.
With everyone trying to squeeze onto the second floor to see Hov, many say it was a complete let-down.
Maybe next time Love will get it right.
